Fallout!
March 27th, 2008
A friend of mine, Thomas, who is organizing an Industrial/Electro-Event called “Fallout“, is now throwing his 4th party. The last two times I was invited to mess around with the visualization a bit, and had a lot of fun. Althpugh I won’t join in this time, I did an Ilustration for the flyers. Remember to have a look if you live in the area - this time there’s gonna be dAVOS from Vienna and Tommy’s own project Ikarus Komplex.

Ah! The Irony!
February 29th, 2008
The last 3 Weeks I’ve been in school again. During my apprenticeship I’m having two months of trade school every year to… ehrm, complete my formation. Though it’s a strange feeling to find myself at school again after over 1 1/2 years, it’s kinda fun. Amusing, so to say.
Before I started, most of my colleagues and friends kept telling me “don’t bother, trade school is like sleeping all day and listening to the teacher for an hour a day if he actualy teaches anything at all”. I always thought of it as exagerated and dramatized, until I had to find out - it’s not.
Beside learning things I think to recall from groundschool (like how to write a letter and stuff like that), we’re doing the most basics of the basics in programs I’ve been working with since I’m 15. Here and there there is an interesting bit of information I didn’t know before but that’s really it. It’s plain boring and in the meantime I don’t even know who is less interested in actual education - the students or the teachers themself.
Although, there’s one great thing about trade school that compensates for everything else - Everyone of us has a sweet little iMac, and our teacher actually like the students to work on their own. In other words, I think I didn’t have as much time to experiment and draw for myself since last May! I’ve started spending 6-10h of work on single pieces and finally have the time to put down all the ideas that flow through my head. I’ve already finished some illustrations, so heres the first release:
I entered this one at designbyhümans - So if you like it and wanna give me a push, just drop a vote
There’s still more to come, but commissions first - In the next weeks I’m gonna release most of the Artwork I’ve been working in the last time, then I might finally find time to blog a little more.
Stay tuned for more,
Askhari

Well, after spending way to much time on the internet, after being hobby-webdesigner for some years and working as web-designer for about half a year now, I realised I never had a personal Homepage, never had a blog. Basically, although I produce a lot of content and artworks I never made a portfolio or something like that, I just use my deviantart-account, haven’t posted anything on my GFX account for ages, and spent some times on myspace here and there.
So for someone who works on the field, who should maybe at least have something like a portfolio, this is pretty low I think. After building some wordpress-blogs for friends and at work, I finally decided to set up one for myself. I had the domain reserved for I don’t know how long, I think it must have been 2 years ago, the last time I thought of building an own homepage, so I set it up in the last days and I am proudly announcing: Yet another blog, one that I’ll probably be too lazy to keep up-to-date ![]()
Nonetheless I’ll be trying to post new sites, new work, stuff I might come across on the net, events for the local area and so on, whatever I might find interesting enough to tell other people.
I’ll be writing english, as I hope to reach at least some more audience than people I know from Klagenfurt, and secondly, I hope I can improve my grammar a bit, as I’m really not used to write english (I bet there was at least two errors in the last sentence).
Currently there’s still some stuff to do, after choosing the awesome K2-Theme for my Blog, I’m still busy custominzing and fine-tuning.
Let’s see what’s to come, hope you’ll enjoy
K.
